Saint Luis Rey Carenas Cigars
SAINT LUIS REY CARENAS CIGARS - In the 16th Century, the Port of Havana, Cuba, was known as Puerto Carenas, as this was the place to repair or “carenar” the ships that arrived in the West Indies. This historic harbor also served as a departure port for many important exports, including the tobacco leaves on their way to the first tobacco factory in Seville, Spain. With this history in mind, Saint Luis Rey Carenas celebrates the encounter of two worlds — the Old and the New— with an extraordinary Honduran cigar that invites you to explore the unexplored.
This line pays tribute to the Port of Havana, Cuba, known as Puerto Carenas in the 16th century. Crafted by the esteemed Grupo de Maestros at La Flor de Copan cigar factory in Honduras.
Flavor-packed smoke of earthy spices and salty notes making it a solid medium-bodied cigar, with an impeccable smooth draw and an oily Nicaraguan wrapper.
