The Ligero grade of leaf is the highest on the tobacco plant and known for its strength and complexity. On a small number of plants, two additional tobacco leaves grow above ligero. These are-called medio tiempo. At the height of the tobacco plant, they get the full benefit of the sun to produce an intense complexity and strength.
